Flight Arrangements

You will be required to book your own flight through Cloudera’s corporate account on Concur, following Cloudera’s travel policy. Your destination airport will be McCarran International Airport. Cloudera will cover the ticketing costs. If you have trouble booking online, you will need to follow the Concur process to find contact details.

Travel Documents – U.S. Citizens

Citizens of the United States must have government-issued photo identification to travel to Las Vegas. Please keep in mind:

  • The name on your identification must exactly match the name on your airline ticket, including any middle name or middle initial.
  • It’s a good idea to take pictures of your identification with your mobile device or make color copies to keep at home and in your luggage. This will expedite the process of getting replacement identification if it is lost or stolen while traveling.

Travel Documents – International Attendees

Non-U.S. citizens must have a passport to travel to Las Vegas, NV. You are responsible for obtaining your passport.Please keep in mind:

  • Your passport must be valid at least six months past the last day of your meeting.
  • You should apply for your passport as soon as possible to allow for processing times.
  • The name on your passport must exactly match the name on your airline ticket, including any middle name or middle initial.
  • It’s a good idea to take pictures of your passport with your mobile device or make color copies to keep at home and in your luggage. This will expedite the process of getting a replacement passport if it is lost or stolen while traveling.

Note: If you are traveling from a country outside of the United States, you will need to contact the appropriate foreign consulate to determine which travel identification documents you will need (such as a passport, tourist visas and/or transit visas). Transfers

You will be responsible for your own transportation to/from the airport and the hotel. Please share taxi or Uber rides with your colleagues, if possible.

If you will be driving to the hotel, self-parking rates at Wynn are as follows:

Self-Parking

  • 0 to 60 minutes: Free
  • 1 to 2 hours: $7
  • 2-4 hours: $12
  • 4-24 hours: $15
  • Over 24 hours: $15 each day

Technology and Travel

Your mobile device can be a handy tool during travel. Check out these tips for using your device during your trip:

  • Download Your Airline’s App: Most allow you to check in 24 hours before your flight, check seat assignments and track your flight. Some apps send flight alerts, such as delays and cancellations.
  • Stay Connected: Internet access is complimentary at the hotel.
  • Take Pictures: It’s a great idea to take pictures of your travel documents (passport/identification, airline confirmation, hotel confirmation, etc.). You may also want to take a picture of the contents of your checked luggage in case it is delayed, lost or damaged.
